Low Maintenance Glass
SSG® Self-Cleaning Glass offers an innovative solution to reducing your cleaning bills of the façades as it will stay clean longer and allow easier cleaning when needed. It will reduce the cleaning maintenance tremendously by self-cleaning through natural elements such as the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays and water. The UV light breaks down organic dirt on the glass, while rainwater washes away the dirt.
It is thus an eco-friendly solution as all it needs is a little sun and rain to activate the self-cleaning process.
Note: Self-Cleaning does not imply that the glass does not need cleaning. A minimal amount of cleaning is still required.
Applicability
SSG® Self-Cleaning Glass also comes with an optional Low Emissivity coating on the other side of the glass for solar control. With this unique dual coating, you can now reap both benefits of low maintenance cost and low energy consumption.
