Singapore Safety Glass (SSG®) does not warrant and hereby disclaims any warranty as to the accuracy, correctness, reliability, timeliness, non-infringement, title, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose of the following General Warranty Information.

General Warranty Information

Singapore Safety Glass Pte. Ltd. with its registered address at 112 Pioneer Road, Singapore 639593 undertakes to provide free-of-charge, ex-factory, replacement of its glass panels, when it has been proven that the product failed in normal use through defective manufacture or materials for the warranty period specified. The warranty of replaced units will extend for the remainder of the warranty period for the original unit.

If the product is no longer available, it will either be replaced with a suitable glass type in the sole opinion of SSG®, or SSG® will refund the purchase price of the glass. The replacement glass will be produced with the same standard of quality as the one supplied and in compliance to widely accepted international standards.

Glass breakage, including but not limited to thermal breakage, is specifically excluded from all SSG® product warranties. SSG® does not warrant nickel sulphide induced spontaneous breakage of tempered glass unless heat-soaked process was done.

Singapore Safety Glass Pte. Ltd. assumes no responsibility for failures resulting from improper use or handling, shipping, and installation not in accordance to normal industry practice, faulty building construction or design, building materials used or applied on glass that has adverse effects on the products, exposure to adverse environmental conditions including but not limited to alkalis, acids or sharp objects or works that may have a detrimental effect on the glass, improper cleaning practices or the occurrence of any event of force majeure.

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and in case of any disputes which cannot be settled amicably, the responsible Court of Jurisdiction will exclusively be the Courts of Singapore. Singapore Safety Glass Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any other expenses involved in the removal of failed panels, personal injury, loss, claims, property damages, labour, material or any other incidental or consequential damages whether directly or indirectly.

Modification or alteration of this warranty is not valid unless under special request on a case-by-case basis and authorized in writing by a director of Singapore Safety Glass Pte. Ltd.

This warranty shall not apply if payment for the product supplied is not made in full to Singapore Safety Glass Pte. Ltd.

Any claims made under this warranty must be supported with a detailed report with proof of defective manufacture or materials while the warranty period is still in force.

All warranty must be made in an official Singapore Safety Glass Pte. Ltd. letterhead and signed by the director of the company.
