Our Glass Performance Verification Services
1. Drop Ball Test (Safety Glazing)
– CPSC 16 CFR 1201
Testing is conducted following Safety Glazing Certification Council (SGCC) methodologies to verify safety glazing performance. A detailed test report will be issued upon completion.
2. Gas Measurement (Argon) for IGU
Using a non-invasive gas measuring device, we conduct argon gas concentration measurements for insulated glass units (IGU) to verify gas fill performance without damaging the unit.
A final measurement report will be provided after completion of the assessment.
3. Surface Stress Measurement
– Fire-rated glass
Measurements are carried out using calibrated Laser GASP equipment in accordance with international standards. A verification report is issued upon completion.
4. Dew Point & IGU Seal Integrity Test
We conduct in-house or on-site dew point testing for insulated glass units to assess seal integrity and moisture resistance, in accordance with international standards.
A final test report will be provided upon completion of the evaluation.
5. Low Emissivity (Low-E) Coating Identification
– Identification of soft coat or hard coat Low-E glass
This ensures proper specification, installation, and performance of architectural glass systems.
6. Fragmentation Test
We conduct fragmentation testing for heat-strengthened and fully toughened glass in accordance with international standards. This test evaluates the breakage pattern and fragment size to confirm compliance with safety glazing requirements.
A detailed test report will be provided upon completion.
7. Impact Test
Our impact testing services assess the impact resistance and safety performance of glass products used in architectural and safety glazing applications. Testing is carried out in accordance with internationally recognised standards to verify compliance and performance reliability.
A comprehensive report is issued after testing is completed.
8. Boil Test
We perform boil testing for laminated and safety glass in accordance with international standards. This test evaluates the durability of interlayers and bonding performance under heat and moisture exposure.
A final verification report will be provided upon completion of the test.
9. Heat Soak Testing
We provide heat soak testing for thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass using a calibrated heat soak oven, in accordance with BS EN 14179:2016.
This process reduces the risk of spontaneous breakage and enhances safety performance. A final test report will be issued upon completion.
